We see podcasting as a dynamic communication tool, enabling in-depth dialogue and stronger audience engagement. With this in mind, we developed the concept and strategic framework for “Στην Πρίζα” (Plugged In), a podcast series powered by IPTO. Now in its second season, the series continues to feature leading journalists and expert voices, unpacking the energy challenges, decisions, and opportunities shaping Greece’s energy future.

The first episode of this season opens with a critical look at Greece’s energy costs and the role of new interconnections in driving change. Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, Nikos Tsafos, joins journalist Kostas Voutsadakis to discuss how upcoming connections with Crete, the Dodecanese, and the North Aegean islands could reduce public service obligation charges. The conversation also explores Greece’s high wholesale energy prices, upcoming improvements in the balancing market and energy storage, and the growing challenge of “energy tourism” in the region.
