For most women, menopause is lived in silence. It is recognised late and rarely discussed openly - a stage every woman goes through, yet one that many reach without the information or the support they expected. Christina speaks about her own experience: fatigue she couldn't explain, words that slipped away, moods that shifted for no reason. She put it down to pressure at work and daily life, until she understood what was happening. What had felt like losing herself turned out to be a natural stage of life, and understanding that was its own kind of relief. It also changed the way she looked after herself.
Danezis Stories is the strategic communications lead for Doctor's Formulas, a Menarini Hellas brand of dietary supplements positioned in the field of longevity and lifestyle medicine. We direct the narrative, produce all the content in-house, and manage the brand's digital presence across LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube and TikTok. Our work begins with strategy - audiences, messages, positioning - before anything is filmed or written, and draws on three decades of journalism and documentary work.
How to communicate it
For this story we chose a real woman, speaking without a script, in place of an advertising message. The subject is sensitive and the category lives on overstatement, conditions where credibility is hard to earn and easy to lose. Dietary supplements sit within strict rules on what can and cannot be said about health. The communication had to earn trust while staying inside them: the lived experience came from Christina, and anything said about the products stayed with the brand's own experts. An authentic account, told plainly, was the way to communicate it.
This is the work we do for brands whose communication is anything but simple. In regulated categories, on subjects most would rather avoid, where trust is the outcome that matters most.
