The Story Behind Zero Drop in Schimatari

at a glance

Our role on Coca-Cola’s Zero Drop program in Schimatari was strategic and creative, end-to-end. Three protagonists, three authentic local stories were adapted into every format and channel, ensuring a unified creative direction and message consistency. The central narrative ties the place to the solution: at the Schimatari Water Treatment Plant, backwash water from the filters is recovered and returned to the system, a technical intervention translated into everyday benefit for the community.

Residents in Schimatari witness the water problem every day- low pressure, outages, drought- but don’t see how the system works. Few knew what the treatment plant does, how the filters operate, or how backwash water is recovered and returned to the network. Our challenge was to make the “invisible” water visible and quietly bridge lived experience to the Zero Drop solution in Tanagra.

Why it matters

In a drought-stressed area with growing demands, the Zero Drop upgrade at Schimatari’s Water Treatment Plant shows how a technical intervention puts water back into the network and supports daily life at home, in local business, and in the fields. By keeping voice and message aligned, we connected people, place, and a documented solution into a cohesive, recognizable, human story. The young activists envision to thoroughly clean the Greek seas and every day they plan new actions all over Greece.

What we delivered

Documentary-style feature stories with multi-platform adaptations, built on a common message core and explicit proof points. From concept to every asset, the work maintains the same voice: authentic human narratives, a clear explanation of the solution, and a unified creative line. We began with field-led research and on-site pre-interviews with residents and the municipality to anchor the narrative in lived experience. We then defined a clear narrative architecture: one master storyline connecting people, place, and the Zero Drop solution. A cross-channel playbook drove platform-specific adaptations (video, static, motion, cutdowns, programmatic, rich media, trade/advertorials) within one creative system. Finally, a single “source of truth” for language and visuals ensured every touchpoint spoke with the same voice.
