A Story of Personal Experience Drive Change

Did you know that approximately one-third of the food produced worldwide goes to waste? That's a staggering 1.3 billion tonnes of food that never gets consumed. Recognizing the scale and complexity of this issue, a team of young analysts known as "Food Allios" emerged as standouts in the Sustainability Hackathon, organized by Lidl Hellas and the Athanasios C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation. Motivated by their personal experiences, they have developed an innovative app targeted at the food service sector.
