Behind every enduring business story are people, decisions, moments of change, and the ability to adapt without losing a sense of identity. Papastratos is a case in point.

In the anniversary documentary “95 Years of Papastratos – This Is Our Story”, Sotiris Danezis brings a journalistic perspective to the company’s journey, moving beyond dates, figures and corporate milestones to focus on the people and experiences behind them.

The film premiered on Thursday, September 10, at Olympion Cinema in Thessaloniki, as part of Papastratos’ presence at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair.

Produced by Danezis Stories, the documentary brings together first-hand accounts from different generations, personal stories and rare archival material. At its core is a people-led account of how the company evolved.

These are the people who adapted as conditions changed, responded to new demands, introduced new ways of working and helped reshape production. They are also the people who were prepared to make difficult changes, question established practices and create the conditions for the generations that followed.

Through their stories, the documentary captures a company in continuous transition, while keeping the human experience at the centre of the narrative.
