EFSYN: Papastratos 95Y - Anniversary Documentary Premiere in Thessaloniki

For the first time, Papastratos shared its 95-year journey with a wider audience through the memories, experiences, and personal stories of the people who lived it. Their voices are at the heart of “95 Years of Papastratos – This Is Our Story”, the anniversary documentary directed by Sotiris Danezis.

The film premiered on Thursday, September 10, at Olympion Cinema in Thessaloniki, as part of the company’s presence at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair.

Directed by Sotiris Danezis and produced by Danezis Stories, the documentary traces almost a century of Papastratos history through first-hand accounts from different generations, personal stories and rare archival material.

From Agrinio and Piraeus to Aspropyrgos and the company’s transformation over the past decade, the film follows the milestones, decisions and turning points that shaped Papastratos over time. At the same time, it places that journey within the broader social and economic changes that were reshaping Greece itself.
