"Fishing for Litter" by Sotiris Danezis, has returned from the Documentary Film Festival Los Angeles & Toronto with the prestigious "Best Director" award. We extend our deepest gratitude to the forty fishermen who participated in this endeavor, as well as those from Kavala, Samos, Chios, and Lesvos, who opened their hearts and seas to us, allowing us to capture their daily struggles and the profound impact of their actions on scientific research and the fishing industry. This award is a reflection of their collective efforts and serves as a reminder of the power of storytelling to inspire change.
