EMEA: Double participation for Sotiris Danezis in TiDF25

The experienced journalist and creator of the series "War Zone", Sotiris Danezis, participates in the 25th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival with two films. One with a focus on man and the other on the environment. Fifteen years after the Festival's tribute to his work, he returns to the cinemas as a director.
"Roofless Dreams" turns its gaze to those we have all met on the side of the road, but some choose to pass them by in haste. To people who once had a job, a home, a family, friends and one day lost it all.
In "Fishing for Litter" four experienced fishermen set sail at dawn from the ports of Kavala, Samos, Chios and Lesvos. From children to trawlers, in recent years they have noticed a change, pick up their nets and bring to the surface the disturbing truth about plastic pollution lurking on the seabed.
